RTD mourns the passing of Senator Faith Winter, a Colorado transportation advocate

The RTD community was saddened to learn of the passing of Senator Faith Winter, a dedicated transportation advocate in Colorado. Senator Winter diligently worked to enhance mobility options for all Coloradans and was especially focused on transit in the Denver metro area. She served as chair of the Senate Transportation and Energy Committee and was a lead co-sponsor of SB21-260, which modernized transportation revenue sources. Senator Winter also championed policies to expand statewide transit access and make it a more effective mobility option.
RTD extends its heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies to her family, especially her two children, friends, colleagues, and all who are mourning her loss.
