RTD to operate reduced service on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
RTD will operate all bus and rail services on a limited Sunday/Holiday schedule on Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025, and New Year’s Day, Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026. Customers should expect reduced service compared with a typical weekday. Checking specific routes before leaving is essential.
The S Line Holiday Train will operate on its special schedule on Christmas Day, running every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Customers are encouraged to use the RTD Next Ride app for real-time arrival information, sign up for Service Alerts, and find exact departure times.

RTD buses and trains operate 365 days a year. Customer care is available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends and holidays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Customers who are speech or hearing impaired can dial 711 for assistance.
