From Safety and Environmental Compliance: East Metro, Platte divisions score favorable marks during monthly safety inspections
Earlier this month, RTD’s Safety and Environmental Compliance Division completed a series of safety inspections at both the Platte and East Metro divisions. Both divisions passed inspections with a score of 80%!
East Metro's inspection revealed a commitment to workplace safety, reflecting a good adherence to electrical safety, housekeeping and commendable employee behavior. Identified opportunities for improvement, including proper guardrails on aerial platforms and enhanced cleanliness, were swiftly addressed, underscoring the facility’s dedication to maintaining a secure and efficient environment.
The inspection at Platte demonstrated compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, showcasing the facility's dedication to safety and operational excellence. Although opportunities for improvement were identified in electrical safety and fire protection, proactive measures for immediate rectification highlight the facility's commitment to continuous improvement and hazard mitigation.
