The Free MetroRide returns temporarily on May 26, 2024, to provide service from morning to evening, 7 days a week, between Union Station and Civic Center StationGet Anywhere Downtown with Limited Stops
With seven stops in both directions between the Union Station bus concourse and Civic Center Station on 18th and 19th streets, the Free MetroRide temporarily returned to service May 26 with 10-minute frequency from 5:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Free MetroRide offers easy connections to bus, light rail, and commuter rail and serves as a convenient companion to the 16th Street Free MallRide. The Free MetroRide is returning temporarily to provide another downtown alternative due to construction on Denver’s 16th Street Mall and RTD’s Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project. The Free MetroRide operates out of 3 dedicated gates in the underground Union Station Bus Concourse.

Boarding only; near the historic building and commuter rail station
