Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong once said, “Wake me up when September ends.” Obviously, Armstrong was not talking about September 2025, because anyone living in the Denver metro area who sleeps through this month is missing out on what could possibly be the best month of the year for concerts, sports and festivals. So, crack open a can (or five) of Monster Energy and stay awake all month long, as there is no time to waste with this month’s Rad Things (to) Do.

3 September 2025Macario Aguilar - September 2025 Operator of the Month
September’s Operator of the Month is Transdev’s Macario Aguilar. Aguilar was selected for his response to a missing person alert in Westminster while on his route earlier last month. While operating his bus, Aguilar noticed that a customer matched the missing person’s description. He contacted dispatch, who relayed the information to the Westminster Police Department and Transit Police. Both departments responded to Aguilar’s bus and recovered the missing person. Thanks to his keen eye for detail and situational awareness, Aguilar was able to locate and assist this individual.
