Commuting Solutions’ Flatiron Flyer Ridership Challenge continues through June. The challenge invites customers from the Boulder and Denver metro region to ditch the car and take the Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) Flatiron Flyer (FF) bus routes (FF1, FF3, FF5) to work, class, entertainment, nightlife, sports and more between Denver and Boulder via the U.S. 36 corridor.

With the first phase of construction of Denver’s 16th Street Mall Project continuing to make progress, RTD's Free MallRide detour will be extended two additional blocks beginning Sunday, May 22. The extended detour will take place between Wazee and Champa streets through August.

The reason dozens of third graders assembled Friday at Pioneer Elementary School was stacked on a table inside the gym: dozens of gold envelopes, each containing a drawing or hand-written message of thanks to members of the military, employees of a local animal sanctuary – and RTD.
