While the first snowfall of the season could still be many weeks away, some among us think about snow all the time. One fun way to demonstrate such knowledge is through RTD’s snowplow roadeo, which drew 12 two-person teams to compete last week.
2 September 2021Final “Meet in the Street” of the season this holiday weekend
RTD’s free shuttle service along the 16th Street Mall will not operate during the “Meet in the Street” event this weekend. Meet in the Street will take place from Saturday, Sept. 4 to Monday, Sept. 6 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is implementing service changes on Sunday, Sept. 5. RTD is reinstating several routes thanks to feedback from customers who participated in the customer input phase of the service change. Routes being reinstated include the 0L, 3L, 116X, CV, EV and P.

RTD, in collaboration with the City and County of Denver, is taking another step forward in its efforts to bring Bus Rapid Transit to East Colfax Avenue. RTD Board members and staff joined elected officials, students, faculty and staff Aug. 10 at the Colorado School of Mines to celebrate the launch of the nation’s largest fleet of low-speed, autonomous electric shuttles, the first in a plan to launch in multiple cities across the state.

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will conduct routine maintenance and inspections on tracks 2, 4 and 7 at Denver Union Station that will impact commuter rail service on multiple rail lines this weekend.
