Bus operator training began for bus-only lanes on East Colfax
As the East Colfax Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project prepares for Bus-Only Lane Operations (BOLO) from Broadway to Colorado Boulevard this fall, training began Monday for more than 200 RTD bus operators. Training will occur daily between Grant and Williams streets until BOLO begins.
Next round of Partnership Program announced to support community mobility needs
RTD announced the allocation for its fourth round of Partnership Program funding on Aug. 1, with nine pilot projects selected to improve mobility for communities throughout the Denver metro area. The Partnership Program, established in 2023, provides opportunities for local governments and transportation management associations/organizations to apply for funding for services or enhancements that complement existing transit services or fill a transit need.
