RTD celebrates the graduation of 20 bus and rail operators

RTD is celebrating 20 individuals who have graduated from RTD’s training programs, seven as light rail operators and 13 as bus operators. The 12-week program instructs trainees on protocols, procedures, and equipment, while providing hands-on experience with route familiarization and night driving. Learn more about the graduation here. Those interested infull- or part-time opportunities for bus or rail operator roles can attend a career fair at RTD’s Platte Division 3-6 p.m. Friday, May 30.

Latest security-related data shows 28% decrease year-over-year

March security-related data is now available on RTD’s Security-Related Metrics webpage. The dashboard for March includes 3,122 security-related calls for service, a decrease of 28.1% year-over-year; 5,336,000 systemwide boardings; 314 Transit Watch app incident reports; 380,947 fare checks; and 59 arrests made in response to criminal activity.
