All aboard again for ‘Storytime on the Train’ Aug. 27

Following the success of the program's debut last month, RTD is inviting families back on board for the second Storytime on the Train event Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. This month's theme is “Back to School Books,” and is focused on getting young readers excited for the school year while enjoying a one-of-a-kind ride on the L Line.

The program begins at 30th•Downing Station, where customers should check in by 9:50 a.m. RTD staff will read back-to-school themed stories, lead sing-alongs and teach families how to explore transit in a fun, educational setting. The L Line will return to the station by about 11 a.m.

Children ride at no cost, but adults must have a valid fare. Families are encouraged to pre-register to secure a seat on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to register.
