Rad Things (to) Do - February 2026
February is here, which means the average person will hear more puns about love and romance within the first two weeks of the month than the rest of the year. Whether you are looking for a hot date, a night out to celebrate the season, or a way to distract yourself from the romance-themed car commercials that permeate the airwaves, there are plenty of fun events to fall in love with around the Denver metro this month. Let’s get into it.
Kicking things off is the first of two Denver stops on the Monster Jam tour, roaring its way into the Ball Arena Feb. 6-8. Watch as the series’ best drivers and biggest machines defy all the laws of physics that Newton thought of way back in the day. Fans of the series will be able to witness Monster Jam’s most notorious trucks in action, such as “Grave Digger,” “Megalodon,” and “El Toro Loco” catch huge air and crush enough cars to make the giant magnet from “The Brave Little Toaster” jealous.
The other notable sporting event taking place this month is the return of All Elite Wrestling, as the stars of Dynamite and Collision face off in the squared circle at the Mission Ballroom Feb. 25!
Of course, there is plenty of action for sports fans across the metro area, as the Avalanche and Nuggets are in the middle of their respective seasons, hosting a slew of home games throughout February. Lovers of college sports are in for an action-packed month of collegiate athletics with the Buffs and Pioneers basketball teams, both men’s and women’s, wrapping up conference play, while the Denver Pioneers hit the ice at the Magness Arena in hopes of returning to the NCAA Frozen Four later this winter. Even the Colorado Mammoth is getting in on the action with two home games at Ball Arena!
For concertgoers, a slow January gives way to a loaded February. This month sees the return of Icelantic Skis’ ever-popular “Winter Mission” concert at the Mission Ballroom Feb. 20. This year’s event is headlined by one of modern hip-hop’s biggest names, BigXThaPlug, with Smino, Mick Jenkins, and PawPaw Rod as support. Additionally, modern metalcore and hard rock heavyweight Bad Omens brings its first-ever headlining arena tour to Ball Arena Feb. 24, with fellow hard rockers Beartooth and President joining as support. Other notable concerts across the metro include Nick Offerman, Adventure Club, Badflower, Rich Brian, YDG, Lights, and Atmosphere.
Whether you are looking for a date idea for Valentine’s Day or for a way to celebrate Singles Awareness Day that doesn’t involve watching reruns of “The Office” on your couch every year like the author of Rad Things (to) Do does, take a look at this month’s events and let RTD help you make your February special.
