Five positions are available; group advises the agency on accessibility and serving customers with disabilities

DENVER (Sept. 2, 2025) –– The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking customers and community members to apply for vacant positions on the agency’s Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities (ACPD). The ACPD provides RTD suggestions, ideas and feedback related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and strengthens the agency’s commitment to accessibility and providing safe and reliable transportation for all customers. The ACPD reports to an internal ADA steering committee. The advisory committee also holds four meetings annually, and two meetings with RTD's Access-a-Ride Paratransit Advisory Committee (APAC).

Five positions are currently open on the 13-member committee, each for a two-year term. To learn more about the ACPD and its efforts, and to apply for a position on the committee, visit the RTD website.
