
RTD to operate bus shuttle service June 3-5 for E and R lines during wire replacement at County Line Station
DENVER (May 28, 2025) –– The Regional Transportation District (RTD) will operate bus shuttle service for E and R lines Tuesday through Thursday, June 3-5, between Lincoln and Arapahoe at Village Center stations as crews replace overhead wires at County Line Station. Customers traveling between these stations can expect longer travel times during the three-day planned maintenance window while crews replace the overhead wires that provide power to RTD’s light rail trains.
What to expect:
- Trains will not operate between Lincoln and Arapahoe at Village Center
- Reduced train service between Arapahoe at Village Center and Southmoor
- Visit RTD’s Next Ride to view adapted schedules
E Line trains will operate on a 15-minute peak frequency between Union and Southmoor stations, and on a 30-minute frequency between Union and Arapahoe at Village Center stations. E Line service between RidgeGate Parkway and Lincoln stations will operate on a 15-minute frequency. Bus shuttles will operate between Lincoln and Arapahoe at Village Center stations.
R Line trains will operate scheduled service between Peoria and Arapahoe at Village Center stations. Bus shuttles will operate between Lincoln and Arapahoe at Village Center stations.

Boarding for bus shuttles will take place at the following station locations:
- Lincoln Station – Gate E
- County Line Station – Gate C
- Dry Creek Station – Board at light rail bus shuttle sign
- Arapahoe at Village Center Station – Gate F
Full service returns to the E and R lines Friday, June 6.
