RTD website and apps useful during upcoming seasonal infrastructure improvements and events

RTD Service Alerts, Next Ride apps provide real-time updates, best transit options to avoid delays and boost customer experience

The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is entering into a period of seasonal infrastructure improvements and events that will impact regular service. RTD encourages customers to take advantage of the agency website and transit apps to stay informed of changes to transit services and quickly find options for alternate routes to avoid delays.

Recent warmer weather and a return to in-person events mean more opportunities to get around town on bus and rail. However, concerts, rides, runs and spring maintenance in the coming weeks may also affect published bus and train schedules.

RTD offers several tools and mobile apps that are designed to improve customers’ transit experience, particularly as customers return to riding buses and trains. Capabilities include signing up to receive Service Alerts, finding nearby stops, looking up departure times, planning trips and viewing real time vehicle locations and arrival predictions while on the go.

In addition, RTD encourages customers to be partners in safety by downloading the agency’s Transit Watch app. RTD has measures in place to ensure employees and customers are safe, including cameras on vehicles and in facilities. With the Transit Watch safety program, customers can report unsafe conditions and behaviors, promoting a better transit experience for everyone.

Use the Next Ride web app to plan a trip and see bus and train locations in real time. Sign up for Service Alerts for specific route information.
