Final January 2026 Service Changes
The below Service Changes will take effect on January 4, 2026.
These changes are designed to reflect seasonal ridership trends and support RTD’s System Optimization Plan, aimed at improving reliability and enhancing the overall customer experience. They also take into account the temporary pause of Phase 3 (Kalamath Street Crossing) of the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project per the completion of the Colfax Avenue Alignment Reconstruction.
Final January 2026 Service Changes
In addition to the routes listed below, there are changes to the following routes:
0B - South Broadway - Schedule Timing
Changes
Minor changes to weekday, Saturday and Sunday/Holiday schedules.
Reason
Improve on-time performance, service reliability, and connections between Routes 0 and 0B.
Survey Results
Out of 31 respondents, 65% reported a positive impact from the change, 13% indicated it had no impact, and 22% perceived the change negatively.

18th•California – Littleton•Mineral

The D Line will resume its regular downtown service pattern, along with corresponding schedule adjustments.

Completion of project phases in the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project allows for the D Line to return to its regular pattern.

Out of 126 respondents, 56% reported a positive impact from the change, 7% indicated it had no impact, and 37% perceived the change negatively.

Union Station – RidgeGate Parkway

The L Line will resume service, operating its regular downtown service pattern.
Reason
Completion of project phases in the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project allows for the L Line to resume service.

Out of 21 respondents, 76% reported a positive impact from the change, 19% indicated it had no impact, and 5% perceived the change negatively.
