RTD introduces Tap-n-Ride for easy and secure payment
RTD has rolled out Tap-n-Ride, giving customers a quicker, easier way to pay by simply tapping a Visa or Mastercard, or using a mobile wallet, at any validator. Additional options, including American Express and Discover, are planned for 2026. Read more here.
RTD light rail trains are rolling through the Downtown Loop
Train testing in preparation of Holiday Light Rail service
Keep an eye out! RTD light rail trains are jingling all the way through the Downtown Loop beginning today, following completion of construction at Kalamath and Colfax. Remember, safety is top priority, so be on the alert and expect trains operating in both directions through crossings in downtown.
RTD is offering special downtown holiday light rail service through Jan. 3, between I-25•Broadway and 30th•Downing stations. Trains will operate every 15 minutes, from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Click here for more holiday light rail service details.
Normal service to downtown for D, H and L light rail lines will resume Jan. 4. Check out this video of train testing prior to start of holiday train service today.
