RTD Transit Police officers debuted new cowboy hats last Friday while patrolling Denver Union Station and surrounding areas for the Rockies home opener. Chief of Police and Emergency Management Steve Martingano said the optional uniform addition was inspired by a desire to celebrate Denver’s historic Western culture. RTD will replace approximately 1,600 linear feet of overhead electrical wire Saturday, April 11 though Monday, April 13 at Denver Union Station to ensure safe and reliable operations for the agency’s E and W light rail lines.
