Service Change

Boulder route updates with August service changes

RTD is modifying key Boulder bus services to enhance reliability and connectivity for customers in Downtown Boulder.

RTD is adjusting transit services at the newly expanded Downtown Boulder Station and relocating some services to Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station, which will reopen on Aug. 31.

Here is what you can expect:

  • New gate assignments will improve bus operations: Bus Routes 208, 225 and JUMP at Downtown Boulder Station will now board on 14th Street
  • While AB2 service will no longer be available at Downtown Boulder Station beginning Aug. 31, Route AB1 will continue to serve the station.
  • Reopening of Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station: Route AB2 is shifting to serve Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station. The AB2 will now operate along 28th Street, serving US 36•Table Mesa and US 36•Flatiron stations, and Denver Airport Station
  • Reinstatement of Route AB3 from Boulder Junction Station to Denver Airport Station. Route AB3 will operate on Saturdays.
  • Reinstatement of Flatiron Flyer 4 (FF4) service from Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station to Civic Center in Denver.
  • Route 228 will route through downtown Superior with a new stop at US 36•McCaslin (Gate C, Superior side).
