Rad Things To Do

Rad Things (to) Do - March 2026

Austin Nettleton

Much like the holiday season, March in the Mile High City is full of magic and wonder. Every beverage miraculously turns green, cloverleafs start growing out of the ground, and the band 3OH!3 awakens from their hibernation on 303 Day to remind the world that they aren’t afraid of people who have beef with them, as they are vegetarians.

Between the annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities and the celebration of all things Denver for 303 Day, March is one of the most alive months of the year in the region, and it is a true appetizer for what the spring and summer months have to offer. Make plans to get outside this month with the March edition of Rad Things (to) Do!

The primer

This month’s loaded event calendar is headlined by several marquee events. First is the return of Denver Restaurant Week March 6-15, where foodies from across the region can enjoy some of Denver’s finest restaurants and indulge in some of the best cuisine in the Rocky Mountains. Two film festivals will also take place this month – No Man’s Land Film Festival and the Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival. No Man’s Land features films grounded in activism, education, and advocacy. The festival, taking place at the MCA Denver at the Holiday Theater March 7, provides a safe place for filmmakers from underrepresented communities to share their films. March 20-22, the Colorado Dragon Boat Film Festival takes place at the SiE Filmcenter, where Asian and Asian American filmmakers showcase their works to promote the culture, contributions, and accomplishments of the Asian and Asian Pacific American community.

Denver’s biggest celebration of Indian and Native American culture takes place at the annual Denver March Powwow happening March 20-22 at the Denver Coliseum. Spectators can enjoy two days of education, heritage, and advocacy of the Indian and Native American people.

Of course, it’s not a Mile High March without the annual Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade taking place in LoDo March 14. One of Denver’s staple parades, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade turns downtown Denver into a mini-Ireland as floats head down Wynkoop, 17th, and Blake streets, ending near Coors Field.

For Denver’s sports fans, March has wall-to-wall action across the board, most notably with the city’s newest professional sports team, Denver Summit FC, kicking off its inaugural season in the National Women’s Soccer League and playing its first-ever home game at none other than Empower Field at Mile High Stadium March 28. Speaking of women’s sports, the Professional Women’s Hockey League returns to the Ball Arena for the second time this year, featuring a clash between the New York Sirens and Minnesota Frost.

Rounding out the sports slate is a full month of home games for both the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, the latter being locked in a three-way slugfest with the Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild for control of the Central Division as well as the league.

For concertgoers, comedy lovers are in for an absolute feast, with some of the biggest comedians in the world making stops in Denver this month. Notable comedians performing this month include Jeff Dunham, Trevor Wallace, Demetri Martin, Chelsea Handler, and Trey Kennedy.

On the music side, March looks to feature one of the most diverse mixes of genres in a long time, headlined by one of the world’s most popular rappers, Cardi B, who performs at the Ball Arena March 9. Other notable artists and bands passing through the 30(H!)3 this month include Black Label Society, Ashnikko, Nothing More, Boys Like Girls, Lamb Of God, Filter, Nurko, The Wonder Years, The Devil Wears Prada, FKA Twigs, and Hawthorne Heights. Lastly, “The Rumbling” arrives at the Bellco Theatre on March 21 where fans of the popular anime series Attack on Titan can relive the events of the show through a live orchestral performance of the original soundtrack.

Check out the full slate of events this month and make this March one to remember.
