RTD station to remain accessible during US 36 Bikeway closure in Broomfield

Temporary US 36 Bikeway daytime closure scheduled in February for Xcel Energy power line work

The US 36 Bikeway in Broomfield will temporarily close between Flatiron Crossing Mall and near State Highway 128 crossing this month as Xcel Energy replaces overhead power lines. There will be no restrictions to access nearby US 36•Flatiron Station during the work, however customers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detour routes.

The trail will be closed 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Feb. 17 to 19 and again Feb. 23 to 25. It will reopen each evening after work concludes. An additional closure date in March will be scheduled to complete the project.
