Eric Worthington - July 2026 Operator of the Month

July's Operator of the Month is Eric Worthington, a paratransit operator from MTM Transit. Worthington was chosen for his selfless actions and quick response to a situation he encountered while on duty. He noticed a fire on the roadside, immediately pulled his bus out of the way of traffic, and ran towards the fire to help out a man and his daughter who were trapped in it. Thanks to his incredibly selfless act of heroism, he saved the lives of two people.

Rad Things (to) Do - July 2026

250 years ago this Saturday, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, thus creating the United States of America. Shortly after, the commander of the Continental Army, George Washington, would scare the redcoats back across the Atlantic when he led the American troops into battle while driving a Dodge Challenger, which really did happen and was in no way impossible to do in the 1700s. Since then, it has been two and a half centuries of screeching eagles, fireworks, ballparks, Star Wars, Toby Keith, Transformers, Chili’s, rejecting the metric system, and, most importantly, freedom. This is no ordinary July; this is America’s 250th birthday, and to celebrate, we are (checks notes) bringing in a British pop megastar to sing at Mile High Stadium during the world’s largest soccer tournament? That can’t be right… Well, at least Denver can remind Ed Sheeran and the United Kingdom what happened on July 4, 1776.
