Customers can access RTD website in Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese translations

DENVER (Feb. 26, 2024) – The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is offering a Vietnamese translation for all its website content as of Feb. 15 to provide greater access for all customers. This option, in addition to previously available Spanish and Chinese translations, means more customers can find fare information, Transit Police and safety information, contact Customer Service, find RTD career postings, and read about events and RTD news in their preferred language.

RTD strives to provide a welcoming transit environment and plans to add a Russian translation, currently in beta testing, in May 2024 to improve RTD accessibility for Russian speakers.

Customers can easily select languages other than English by clicking the “translate page” option in the upper right of the RTD website and selecting the preferred language from the dropdown menu.

Vietnamese and Russian also will be added to RTD’s Next Ride application in March and early May respectively this year in addition to Spanish and Chinese to support the agency’s service area.

In November 2023, RTD launched a fully redesigned website with improved navigation, enhanced online accessibility, updated photography and refreshed content. The new website was designed after feedback sessions with members of the RTD Board of Directors, staff, customers, stakeholders and the community to identify needs and explore opportunities.
