Reconstruction project at Kalamath Street moving forward with restraining rail installation, more

Since last week, crews at Kalamath Street have completed installation of restraining rail, spacer blocks, and flangeway filler — critical components that help make the track safer and smoother for our customers. All welds have been completed, and both tracks have been destressed. Crews will pour concrete track paving, along with sidewalks and curb and gutter next week. Work on the Downtown Rail Reconstruction Project remains on schedule.
